* If you are the participant of 2017 Annual Meeting of JSABEES (Aug 30th – Sep 4th, Matsuyama), it is NOT necessary to register to attend 2017 CIGR World Workshop.

The registration fee includes abstract submission, admission to all the sessions, and a paper copy of the abstracts.

Call for abstract for 2017 CIGR World Workshop

The online abstract submission deadline: June 9th (Fri), 2017.

The Abstract submission deadline is June 9th (Fri), 2017. A person intending to make an oral presentation at the Workshop should submit 1-page Abstract (A4 paper, no more than 250 words long) no later than June 9th (Fri), 2017. The Abstract should include the paper Title and Keywords related to the Workshop topics as listed below and following the template provided. Submitted Abstracts will be reviewed by specialists and accepted as oral presentations. Notification of acceptance or rejection for oral presentations will be given no later than July 1st (Sat) 7th (Fri), 2017.

*You have to complete online-registration of CIGR World Workshop first, before starting an abstract submission, except when you have already registered to attend the 2017 Annual Meeting of JSABEES (Aug 30th – Sep 4th, Matsuyama).
*All abstract submissions must be received in PDF format (Example Download).

Abstracts may be submitted in any of the following areas in plant factory and intelligent greenhouse:
1. Environmental control based on plant diagnosis
2. Improving the energy and water use efficiencies
3. Environmental impacts
4. Mechanization and automation maintaining well-balanced relations with human labor.
5. Models for prediction of plant growth and yield and for labor control
6. R&D for unprecedented agricultural production
7. Availability of artificial intelligence and bioinformatics symbolized by omics
8. Human resource development and training for managers and labors
9. Establishment of the younger generation initiated researches and communications

Call for paper for 2017 CIGR World Workshop

Once an abstract is accepted, the author is encouraged to prepare a full paper which will be published as review/original paper in Environmental Control in Biology or CIGR journal. It is mandatory to follow the author instruction of each journal before submitting the paper. Online submission form of special issue paper for accepted abstracts will be open on July 1st (Sat) 7th (Fri), 2017.
