Environmental Control in Biology (ECB, formerly published as Environment
Control in Biology), an official publication of the Japanese Society of
Agricultural, Biological and Environmental Engineers and Scientists, is
a peer-reviewed quarterly publication of results of original research on
environmental control in biology, plant growth factories and biotronics
or directly related research areas. Its prime function is communication
of mission-oriented, fundamental research to other researchers. Subject

New publication fee will be applied for all manuscripts submitted after May 1, 2017.
Author Instructions
For submissions after January 1, 2015, 10,000 yen of a publication fee will be charged per paper in black-and-white format.
After January 1, 2015, all manuscripts must be submitted via an online
submission system, ScholarOne Manuscripts, which can be accessed at https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/ecinb. |
| Rapid Review |
The first results of review for the manuscript will be informed within 1 month after submission, and the reviewing process will be completed within 3 months. |

Most manuscripts will be published within 6 months after submission. |
